Allan Loeb, a writer and producer of films and TV shows including “The Only Living Boy in New York,” “Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps,” and “New Amsterdam,” is listing his Flatiron District home at 141 Fifth Ave. for $4.25 million.
He bought the fifth-floor unit for $3.15 million in 2010.
The two-bedroom, 2½-bathroom corner condo is in a Beaux Arts building.
The 1,766-square-foot property features 10½-foot ceilings and wide plank oak floors.
The apartment opens to a foyer with an alcove, custom built-in bookshelves and an open chef’s kitchen.
The master bedroom comes with a walk-in closet and an en-suite, spa-like bathroom.
Loeb says he’s written most of his New York-centric work in the apartment, but is spending too much time in LA these days to keep it. “I’ve written some of my favorite movies about New York while living in New York, so my heart will always be there,” he tells Gimme Shelter. “Show business is keeping me in Los Angeles for the foreseeable future, but I plan on reestablishing my footing in NYC as soon as possible.”
The listing broker is Corcoran’s Max Nehrig.
