Real estate broker and “Million Dollar Listing New York” star Ryan Serhant has inked a seven-figure book deal with Hachette Book Group to write “Big Money Energy: How to Rule at Work, Dominate at Life and Make Millions.”
Serhant tells Gimme he had the idea for it for some time but that he “only started writing once the city shut down in March.”
Topics of the tome, be release on January 19, 2021, include nailing first impressions, maximizing precious awake time, getting over bad experiences quickly and, above all, staying committed to tasks and goals.
Ten years ago, Serhant’s annual income was less than $10,000 — last year, his team did $1.4 billion “in closed and in contract sales,” he says.
“BME” may sound like “BDE” (“big d–k energy” was the catchphrase of 2018) but Serhant swears he came up with the term in 2009.
“Big Money Energy,” he says, “is a term I’ve used for a long time to define the confidence you need to land bigger clients, earn more money and feel great about yourself. As I was sitting at home, I realized it was the perfect time to help people find their own BME, and take back control of their own lives.”
The book, Serhant says, will take readers through his five-part plan to find the “Super You.” The idea, he says, “is to tackle adversity and go from just surviving to truly thriving.”
