“The Today Show” nutritionist Joy Bauer has listed her Westchester home for $1.34 million.
The six-bedroom, 5½-bathroom home at 3 Millenium Place in Rye Brook was built in 2000.
The home boasts a large chef’s kitchen, where Bauer contributed to more than 10 cookbooks and “thousands” of healthy meals featured on “Today,” as well as “Access Hollywood” and People magazine. The listing broker is Kori Sassower, of Compass.
Bauer has lived in Rye Brook for the past 20 years and happens to be ready to sell at a time when many COVID-anxious New Yorkers are fleeing the city for the ‘burbs and vacation-home spots.
“We listed the house right before this all started, one to two weeks before COVID,” Bauer, who plans to buy an apartment in the city, told Gimme Shelter. “I’m first seriously looking now, virtually.” While I love the downtown area
Bauer fondly recalls her days — “pre-kids” — in a one-bedroom apartment at 2 Fifth Ave. near Washington Square Park.
“We still have that apartment for the extended family to enjoy,” she adds. “While I love downtown, I need a fabulous kitchen, so I’m not going to focus in on one area. Instead, I’m keeping my options open until I find my next kitchen.”
